Doug Woodworth is currently leading an innovation function at Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) and is grounded with a personal commitment to servant leadership and client value. His focus is on developing AI and other innovation capabilities to help transform benefits delivery.

With 28 years at ESDC spanning operational and corporate roles, he has progressed in using and developing advanced analytics, data management, robotics process automation, and artificial intelligence capabilities. His focus has been on generating real business value in areas including compliance, operational optimization and client experience improvements.

He is passionate about using AI and data-driven innovation to drive meaningful improvements in public services for Canadians.
