With over 24 years of Information and Technology experience, Roy Marra has worked across multiple verticals in many different capacities. Whether providing Application Maintenance and Development outsourcing services, internal infrastructure and system services, custom software development or data services Roy has helped organizations achieve strategic outcomes. Roy has extensive experience with compliance including PCI compliance, SOC 1 and SOC 2 compliance and NERC CIP compliance. In his current role as Director Business Services & Solutions Delivery at the IESO, Roy manages a team that provides and supports software and data solutions for the entire organization ensuring the reliable management of the wholesale energy market and operations of the electricity grid for the Province of Ontario.
Roy received a Bachelor’s in Computer Science from Ryerson University and an Executive MBA from the University of Fredericton. He also maintains his PMP certification from PMI and his CDPSE and CRISC certifications from ISACA.
