Louise Bernier is a seasoned senior executive with over 32 years of experience in driving impactful Data, Technology, and Business Transformations within the federal government. Her successful career has been marked by important leadership roles within the federal government including Elections Canada, National Defence, and Immigration. With a proven track record of achieving outstanding results, Louise is a true advocate for innovation, purpose-driven initiatives, and the empowerment of her teams.

Her passion for data was ignited early in her career in the role of a Database Administrator. From those initial days, her interest with harnessing the power of data to drive informed decisions and transformative change has only grown stronger. Louise spent many years in various Director and Senior Director roles in the Data & Analytics space across the federal government and her dedication to data excellence saw her ascend to the role of Chief Data Officer in the federal public sector.

Louise holds a Master’s degree in Information Management from Dalhousie University, which equipped her with the strategic and technical insights required to excel in the ever-evolving landscape of data management. She also earned a dual Bachelor’s degrees in Economics and Computer Sciences from Sherbrooke University.
